An absolutely haunting ARCHAIC portrait, this piece is also a very HOT psychometric reading artifact connected powerfully with the School of Pythagoras as it manifested in Syracuse.
Silver litra, Boehringer 362 ff. var (no circle on reverse), VF, 0.383g, 7.9mm, Syracuse mint, c. 485 - 479 B.C.; obverse diademed head of Artemis Arethusa right, with necklace; reverse wheel of four spokes, but note the circle in the upper left quarter. VERY UNUSUAL history to this coin and its travels will interest the psychically sensitive reader. I can obtain a coin like this, but not this particular coin. Another coin like it will not have the history enjoyed (in the Vogon sense of the word) by this highly buzzing reading artifact.
